Following a Family Legacy
My grandfather’s story has always been my greatest inspiration. He was an immigrant who shined shoes as a child, served in World War I, and built a purposeful life through hard work and integrity. His belief that true prosperity comes from planning ahead and serving others shaped how I view wealth: not as something to chase, but something to steward.
At ProsperPlan Wealth, I carry that legacy forward by helping clients turn their own hard work into lasting peace of mind. My approach is grounded in education, clarity, and long-term partnerships; simplifying complex financial decisions so you can live confidently today while protecting tomorrow.
I hold a Master of Science degree in Financial Analysis (MSFA) from the University of San Francisco and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from Sacramento State. With deep specialization in retirement planning, Roth conversions, financial technology, and tax-efficient strategies, I guide clients through every stage of their financial journey with precision and purpose.
As a Sacramento native, I’m proud to serve the community that shaped me. I give back by speaking at local schools, including my alma mater, Rio Americano High School, to help the next generation build a foundation of financial confidence and stewardship.
“Helping clients lift the weight of financial stress and achieve lasting peace of mind is what I love most.”
Life Outside of Work
Beyond my professional life, I find fulfillment in serving at City Bible Church of Sacramento as a youth group leader and the Treasurer – as well as spending quality time with friends and family.
I love barbecuing, often preparing a full rotisserie lamb for family gatherings.
My Greek heritage is a significant part of who I am, and I share my home with cats named after famous Greeks: Leo, Elsa, Achilles, and Phila.
For recreation, during the winter, you can find me skiing, and throughout the rest of the year, I enjoy attending a mix of local Sacramento events.
I live with my lovely wife, Tanya, and our beautiful daughters, Kaira and Amalia, as I strive to balance my professional commitments with a rich and fulfilling personal life.
What inspired you to become a financial advisor?
Growing up, I often heard stories about my grandfather—an immigrant who shined shoes as a child at the turn of the 20th century, served in World War I, and built a life through hard work and entrepreneurship. What stood out most wasn’t just his resilience, but his belief that prosperity comes from planning ahead and serving others well.
He understood that lasting wealth isn’t about chasing the moment—it’s about investing in your future, creating security for your family, and leaving something meaningful behind. That lesson shaped my perspective on what true financial success looks like.
At ProsperPlan Wealth, I carry that same philosophy forward: helping you turn hard work into lasting peace of mind. My goal is to simplify complex financial decisions and create a clear, actionable plan, so you can live confidently today while protecting your tomorrow.
When I see the relief and confidence that come from lifting the weight of financial uncertainty off someone’s shoulders, I’m reminded why I chose this profession. It’s about helping people feel secure, empowered, and in control of their future.
What do you enjoy most about working with your clients?
I love seeing the stress of financial uncertainty lift from a client’s shoulders. Helping turn their goals into a clear, achievable plan and watching that vision become reality is deeply rewarding.
How would you describe your approach to financial planning?
It starts with listening. Every plan begins by understanding your story, where you are today and where you want to go. From there, I build a tailored strategy designed to give you clarity, confidence, and peace of mind, with advice that’s always in your best interest.
What’s one piece of financial advice you find yourself giving most often?
Stick to the fundamentals. The core principles of financial wisdom haven’t changed for thousands of years—and for good reason. I often remind clients that the Bible offers timeless guidance that still applies today.
Diversify your efforts – “Invest in seven ventures, yes, in eight; you do not know what disaster may come upon the land.” — Ecclesiastes 11:2
Save for the future – “Go to the ant… it stores its provisions in summer and gathers its food at harvest.” — Proverbs 6:6-8
Build wealth steadily over time – “Wealth gained hastily will dwindle, but whoever gathers little by little will increase it.” — Proverbs 13:11
Stay calm in uncertainty – “Do not worry about your life… consider the ravens: they do not sow or reap; they have no storeroom or barn, yet God feeds them. And how much more valuable you are than birds!” — Luke 12:22–24
These fundamentals anchor us when markets fluctuate or emotions rise. By focusing on disciplined saving, smart diversification, and steady patience, you can build wealth that lasts—and gain the peace of mind that comes from trusting sound principles over fleeting trends.
Outside of work, what do you enjoy doing?
Spending time with my family, serving in our church, skiing in the mountains, and perfecting a great barbecue – especially a good steak or rotisserie lamb.
How do you help clients feel confident about their financial future?
Confidence comes from clarity and genuine understanding. I take time to learn what matters most to each client and build a plan grounded in conservative, transparent assumptions that stand up over time. I never use empty promises or boast about high performance to build confidence — instead, I focus on education, open communication, and thoughtful planning that earns trust through consistency.
